Wisdom tooth surgical extraction.

This horizontally impacted wisdom tooth caused pericoronitis, which involved gum infection, inflammation and pain. The wisdom tooth needed a surgical extraction.

The tooth was sectioned and surgically removed under local anaesthetics. The postoperative recovery was uneventful.
