denture

This case presented a lot of dental problems including broken teeth, root stumps with pins, defective crown, decays, worn off dentition and missing teeth. After discussing the options with the patient, we decided to keep the existing teeth if possible and replace missing teeth with a more economic treatment plan.

The treatments completed included extractions for unrestorable teeth, white fillings, root canal treatment, post, a new crown and a metal (cobalt chrome) denture. The missing teeth were replaced with a denture instead of dental bridge and implants due to financial consideration.

Even though the denture was not the most comfortable option, it's the most affordable one. The patient was very happy with the result. The bridge and implants still can be an option in the future if the patient wants.
