A filling feels different!

This patient walked in complaining of sore gum and food impacted between teeth. On examination, it showed a defective composite resin restoration (white filling), which caused open contact and food impaction between teeth. Subsequently the gum got inflammation and pain. The restoration was replaced with open sandwich technique and restored the original anatomy with a good contact. The gum is nice and pink again. It's a filling makes you feel different.
